Arkansas Real Estate Continuing Education Requirements
The Arkansas Real Estate Commission (AREC) sets the continuing education requirements for Arkansas real estate licensees. AREC requires a total of six (6) clock hours of continuing education every year (all licenses expire on December 31) for the renewal of an active license.
The following subjects do not qualify for continuing education credit:
- Time spent on breakfasts, luncheons, and dinners.
- Speed reading, memory improvement, and other mechanical, office, or business skills courses
- Sales promotions
- Repeated classes during the same year
